MEET MY OCs part 1

I've been sorting out and working on my manga plot lately~ so I thought I'll introduce you guys to my charas 8D

I didn't really plan this summary out properly, so sorry if some parts don't make sense LOL;
Story Summary:

Once upon a time, fairy tale telling opened up people's imagination and fantasies. Each unique fairy tale was handed down generation by generation, and eventually each tale gained a conscious and grew into a life force.

However, the life force soon became a plague which infected people and environments. People gained inhuman powers which eventually consumes them. The infected vanishes, leaving behind their soul in a form of a butterfly which flutters away and wanders the world eternally.

Fairy tale experts, known as Folklorists began to conduct research and studies on the crisis. Two outstanding Folklorists, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm developed a anti-infection which extracts the infection, and cures the victim when injected.

The brothers were hailed as heroes as they voyaged around the world to extract every single infectious Marchens (fairy tales). As they gradually collected each tale, the powers accumulated and Jacob became mesmerized. He suggests to his younger brother that they could use this immense power to change the world.

Wilhelm's heart was not swayed as he realized that the Marchens have also consumed his brother. The two broke into a power struggle, but Wilhelm managed to seal away the Marchens along with Jacob.

Centuries passed by, and nobody realized one single Marchen still wanders the world. The Marchen infected a little girl, taking over her mind. She broke the seal and freed Jacob along with the Marchen, which plagued the world once again.

Name: Remedy
Age: 15
Gender: male
Background:
Descendant of Wilhelm Grimm, Remedy discovered a vial of the anti-infection his ancestor created.
He accidentally injected himself with the antidote and became a reluctant human weapon against the Marchens.
Personality: Passive and doesn't really like to involve himself in troubles. However, he cares a lot about the people around him and possesses great dislike for selfish people.



Name: Elixir
Age: 15
Gender: female
Background:
Elixir possess the antidote power but cannot perform extractions, she was ordered to aid Remedy in the war against the Marchens.
She has a deep history, but that would take an entire journal just to explain her story LOL.
Personality:
She is seen as a distant and heartless person. Elixir seems to only have the Marchen war on her mind and doesn't really reveal much about herself to anyone. The only person who seems to really know her is Soru, her childhood friend.


Name: Soru Onitsuka
Age: 17
Gender: male
Background:
Powerful mythologist (mythologist aids folklorists during an Marchen extraction, their purpose is to banish the Marchens after the extraction.) from the famous Onitsuka family, Soru is Remedy's main Myhologist.
Personality: Calm and collected, but can sometimes be seen as an elitist. Soru and Remedy grows pretty close during the time of their cooperation.


Name: Kai
Age: 15
Gender: male
Background:
Kai was ordered to pose as Remedy's best friend to keep an eye on him from a very young age. Remedy was enraged and felt betrayed when he realized, but in the end both of them still considers each other as best friends. Kai has the tendency to flirt with every girl he sees.


Name: Kemuri
Age: 27
Gender: male
Captain of the Japanese defence force against Marchens. Kemuri is a chain smoker.
Still working on his bg;;;


Name:???
Age:16
Gender: female
I haven't thought of a name for her yet. Xio's estranged little sister. She was abandoned by Xio at a young age and sent to Japan.
HURRR still working on her bg.

If you guys did bother to read all that.... I love you ;o;

Yaaah anyways what do you guys think? I hope my story isn't too cliched and overdone~
If you guys have any question for any of the charas, feel free XD
I'm still working on some main plot details, I've just got so much ideas in my head and still trying to figure out where to put them LOL.
Of course any new idea contribution would be more than welcome!

Any suggestion with the pink hair girl name? She's from Germany, so maybe a nice German name.

I still got another set of charas to introduce, so I'll post that up next time. XD
